Biography

Joel Osteen, a native Houstonian, has committed his life to serving and helping every person, regardless of background and economic status, to achieve their fullest potential. Having started Lakewood's television ministry, Joel worked side-by-side with his father, Pastor John Osteen, for 17 years, and took Lakewood's positive message of hope to over 100 million households throughout the United States.


Victoria Osteen has always had a passion and energy for life that is contagious. A life-long Houstonian, Victoria began her career in her family's business. Now as a supportive wife and mother of two children, Victoria is an inspiration and mentor to women everywhere. She is committed to helping women, children and families discover their purpose and reach their highest potential in Christ.

In the Spring of 2008, Simon and Schuster will release Victoria's first book. She is also working on a series of books specifically for children and teens. This new series promises to be a resource for parents who are seeking to raise children in the knowledge of God's Word.
